Sports Premium

The government introduced the PE and sports premium for primary schools in 2014.

The additional annual funding is provided to improve the provision of physical education and sports in primary schools. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spend on the provision of PE and sport within schools.

At Keevil, professional coaching is provided by PH Sports - this means the children are taught by experienced coaches and teachers learn the skills of providing good differentiated PE lessons.

• Training of staff - e.g. netball coaching training
• Weekly gym lessons at Wiltshire School of Gymnastics
• Purchasing a range of sports equipment

Funding after schools clubs to allow us to take part in tournaments and competitions against other schools.
